This project developed in Spring of 2013 through the Inventor's Studio course at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, under the guidance of professor Burt Swersey.

Inventor's Studio challenges students to apply their engineering and technical skills to problems that have a large impact on society. Focus areas often include environmental sustainability, health care, education, poverty, hunger, and large social issues. Course activities range from creative exercises, reverse engineering assignments, presentations, research, patent applications, and prototyping.
